The Crosstrek Sport slots in between the Premium and Limited trims. If you’ve ever wanted something with a bit more power and some special changes to the appearance. This is the trim you’ll want to get if you’re looking for an enjoyable ride, but you don’t need the premium features that the Limited trim gives you.

An Upgraded Engine

The Crosstrek Sport is now the first trim that comes with the upgraded 2.5-liter BOXER® engine. This boosts the power from the Crosstrek to 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. When you combine this with the standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, you’ve got a fantastic subcompact SUV for some light off-roading.

A Bolder Face and Unique Accents

The usual looks of the Crosstrek are emboldened on the Sport trim in a few ways. Looking at it from the front, you’ll notice that the chrome accents on the grille are darkened on the Sport, and the housing for the fog lights is fuller, giving it a fiercer look. You’ll also see the unique wheels have a dark gray finish, and the fenders are a bit larger and bolder.

The interior has some unique water-repellant StarTex® upholstery on bucket seats. The cabin uses special yellow stitching throughout and soft materials for you to rest your arms on while driving through Pittsburgh. The LCD display in your dashboard is upgraded to a 4.2-inch display compared to the 2.4 inches on lower trims. Rear seats get access to two USB ports, and an 8.0-inch STARLINK® Multimedia Plus system is available in an optional package with the moonroof and Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
