Community Involvement
More Than a Dealership; We're Your Neighbors
At Bowser Subaru, we believe being part of the Greater Pittsburgh community means more than selling cars. It means showing up for local nonprofits, for families in need, and for the causes that make our corner of Pittsburgh a better place to live.
Sharing the Love, Every Year
As a Subaru dealer, we're proud to take part in the Subaru Share the Love Event® each year, donating to national and local charities for every new Subaru sold or leased. Since the program began, Subaru retailers and Subaru of America have given over $315 million to charity nationwide — and every purchase at Bowser Subaru helps that number grow.
Locally, we direct a portion of these contributions to the Dr. Stanley Marks Blood Cancer Research Fund, supporting young researchers in developing new treatments and clinical trials for blood cancers in Pittsburgh and across the United States.
Rooted in Pittsburgh
Bowser Subaru has called Pleasant Hills home for over 40 years, and we're committed to giving back to the communities that have supported us. Throughout the year, our team gets involved through:
- Supporting local school sports and organizations
- Pittsburgh Food Bank food distribution days
- Volunteering with the Mountain Watershed association on trail clean up projects
- Supporting our local animal shelters such as South Hills Pet Rescue
A Love for Animals
Subaru has a long-standing partnership with the ASPCA, and Bowser Subaru is proud to support that mission locally by partnering with South Hills Pet Rescue.
