What Is New For 2022?
Subaru began building the 2022 Subaru WRX on the Subaru Global Platform, which has helped the WRX achieve higher body rigidity, a lower center of gravity, and increased chassis strength for better safety. The all-new 2022 WRX has also received a new 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that provides 271 horsepower and a new powerband that holds all 258 pound-feet of torque from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm.
Around the exterior of the 2022 WRX, drivers will notice an aggressive and athletic look with textured fenders that aid aerodynamics. Inside the cabin, drivers will find a new D-shaped steering wheel, leather-wrapped accents, and an available 11.6-inch STARLINK® multimedia display that combine to create a premium experience. Drivers who opt for the new Subaru Performance Transmission will also be able to use driver assistance features through EyeSight®, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering Assist, and Pre-Collision Braking.
